traditional wooden knitting doll
size: 10cm x 2.5cm
push the end of the wool right through the doll from top to bottom. Now wind the wool once round each metal hook in turn, moving in a clockwise direction. Next begin taking the wool round the outside of each hook, again moving clockwise, and keeping above the loop you have already made.
now using the needle, lift the first loop over the wool you have positioned above it, and over the hook. Then move on to the next hook and repeat. Continue on round the doll, from time to time pulling gently down on the length of wool (eventually knitted cord) which protrudes from the base of the doll. To finish off, lift the loops carefully from the hook and pass the end of the wool once through each of the four loops. Then sew together with a darning needle.
don't worry about remembering these instructions as they can be found on the reverse of the retail packaging.
Comes boxed, with wooden needle and a little wool yarn, to get you started..
NOTE: Not suitable for children under 3 years due to sharp points and small parts which may pose a choking hazard
